美國股市強強滾，在銀行以及金融類股領漲下， 4 大指數全面收紅，其中，道瓊以及標準普爾指數均創新高，道瓊指數更已連續 5 個交易日改寫歷史紀錄。至於台北股市昨日漲至 10631 點，創 27 年新高，今日有機會挑戰歷史高點。
投資人期待美國聯邦準備理事會（ Fed ）本周在華府會議的同時，銀行和金融類股領漲，美國華爾街股巿再創新高紀錄。道瓊工業指數上漲 63.01 點或 0.28% ，收在 22331.35 點；標準普爾 500 指數收高 3.64 點，漲幅 0.15% ，成為 2503.97 點；那斯達克指數漲 6.17 點或 0.10% ，以 6454.64 點作收；費城半導體指數收高 14.22 點或 1.24% 至 1160.90 點。
至於台北股市，外資作多，昨日終場上漲 51.16 點，收在 10631.57 點，漲幅 0.48% ，成交金額 1336.74 億元。今日在美股全面收紅下，有機會挑戰前波高點 10656 點，甚至歷史新高 12682 點。
亞洲股市日本、南韓今日開盤，日本股市以大漲 226 點開出，漲幅 1.14% ；南韓股市小跌 2 點，跌幅 0.09% 。
北港警分局在中元節這天舉行普渡儀式，分局長李憲蒼親自率領內外勤主管、同仁及志工中隊長黃鴻祺、警友會副主任吳佳承、民防副中隊長林益生、義警副中隊長林鴻儒等齊心焚香祈福。李分局長指出，慶讚中元除闡揚懷念祖先的孝道，亦是發揚推己及人，樂善好施的義舉，祈安儀式簡單而隆重。
適逢中元節普渡，北港警分局，依傳統習俗舉行祭拜祈福儀式，供桌上虔誠敬備牲禮、素果及鮮花普渡四方好兄弟，李分局長率領所屬以清香祈拜，希望藉由普渡眾生的心意帶來好兆頭，讓社會治安平順，同時要求同仁持續做好為民服務、保護人民及以民眾立場為出發點的警政作為。
分局長李憲蒼表示，中元普渡祭典儀式，蘊含著人性善念的體現，基於「身在公門好修行」的理念，平時員警執勤發現需要幫助的家庭，除了通報相關單位，並主動關懷，也會透過轄區公益慈善團體來協助，喚起社會大眾對弱勢族群的關懷及幫助，今年也不例外，讓傳統民俗祭典增添公益回饋的意義外，也能為社會盡一份心力。
